Currently attending the University of New Mexico, I am pursuing a double major in vocal performance and music education. I would like to use my degree to perform as much as possible and then teach music to elementary-aged children or high-school students. Much of my favorite things to perform and teach are pieces from Operas and Italian arias as well as Broadway musical theatre. I am very passionate about music and most people notice this about me – I am usually found at the piano singing, being dramatic off or on stage, or randomly dancing. Among other things, I love to travel and discover beautiful and new cultures. I enjoy taking black and white pictures of whimsical architecture, dancing in the rain, playing grand pianos, visiting the local coffee shops with friends, watching the clouds with a favorite book, and stopping to smelling the flowers…
Again, I hope you enjoy all that you read and that you find encouragement, a few laughs, some serious thoughts, and just random day-to-day things in the middle of the pages, rather entries, of this blog.
